The return-to-work program was created for the purpose of making supplemental payments to workers whose permanent disability benefits are disproportionately low in comparison to their earnings loss.
Overview
To be eligible for the return-to-work supplement, an injured worker must have received the supplemental job displacement benefit (“SJDB”) voucher. However, certain limitations may apply, and these benefits only apply to injuries sustained on or after Jan. 1, 2013.
